Terms of Use

HIRO gives you fitness coaching by an AI coach: training and meal plans, notes, check-ins and chat. Your coach is openly an AI, not a person. By using HIRO you agree to these terms.

Not medical advice

HIRO does not diagnose, treat or prescribe, and it is not a substitute for a doctor or other health professional. Stop training and seek medical help if you feel chest pain, faintness, severe shortness of breath or any other warning sign. Check with a doctor before you start if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are unsure whether exercise is safe for you.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older to use HIRO.

Your account

Give accurate information, keep your password safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

What the AI writes

Plans, notes and replies are generated by AI from what you tell us and log. They can be wrong, so use your judgement. Changes to your plan are proposed to you and applied only when you approve them.

Subscriptions and trials

Some features need a paid subscription; prices are shown in the app before you buy. Trials, renewals, cancellation and refunds follow the rules of the store you bought through (App Store or Google Play) or of the payment method you used in the app.

Using the service fairly

Use the service lawfully and for your own training. Do not misuse it, try to break or copy it, or upload content that is unlawful or violates someone else's rights. Fair-use limits may apply to AI features.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload and write. You allow us to use it to provide the service to you.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be waived.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app when we do. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
